Who we are
AdZoic is an ad-buying platform. Brands and agencies tell us their goal and budget, and our AI buys the right ads for them, in real time — on streaming TV, online video, websites, apps, audio and digital billboards. We're a small team in Dhaka, and we build and run all of it ourselves.
Why this role matters
On most platforms, a bug is an annoyance. On ours, a bug spends real money: a broken budget check can overspend a campaign overnight, a wrong number breaks a customer's trust, a slow bidder loses auctions silently. You'll be the person who catches these before customers do — by building automated tests across our bidder, dashboards and APIs, and by making quality part of how we ship, not a gate at the end. You won't inherit a QA process; you'll build it.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain automated test suites — API, UI and integration — so every release is checked by machines, not luck.
- Write the tests that protect the money paths: campaign budgets, spend tracking and payouts. These must never be wrong.
- Load-test our high-traffic services: simulate real exchange traffic against the bidder and prove it stays fast and correct under pressure.
- Wire tests into our CI/CD pipelines so broken code never reaches production, and engineers get feedback in minutes.
- Write test plans for new features and do sharp manual testing where automation doesn't reach yet.
- Hunt edge cases: weird inputs, race conditions, timeouts and duplicate events.
- Track bugs clearly, verify fixes and push quality standards across every team — kindly, but firmly.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years in QA or test automation, with tests you wrote yourself — code, not just test cases in a spreadsheet.
- Hands-on experience with a modern automation tool: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar.
- Solid API testing skills (Postman, REST clients or code) and good SQL — you check the database, not just the screen.
- Comfortable with Git and CI/CD — your tests live in the pipeline, not on your laptop.
- A breaker's mindset — you read a feature spec and immediately think of five ways it fails.
- Ownership — if a bug reaches production, you ask how the process let it through, and fix the process.
Nice to have
- Load and performance testing experience (k6, JMeter, Locust or similar).
- Basic scripting in JavaScript, Python or Go to build your own test tooling.
- AdTech or OpenRTB experience — not required; strong engineering matters more.
Schedule & location
- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Bangladesh time), Sunday to Thursday.
- Hybrid — 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
- House 42, Road 08, Block D, Niketan, Gulshan, Dhaka 1212.
What you'll get
- Salary — negotiable.
- Festival bonus (twice a year), plus performance and referral bonuses.
- Medical coverage for you and your immediate family (in process).
- Learning budget for courses, certificates and conferences.
- Quarterly team outings; annual, casual and sick leave, plus maternity and paternity leave.
AdZoic is an equal-opportunity employer — we judge people on skill and potential, nothing else. We sometimes use AI tools to help with hiring (for example, to help review applications), but they never make the decision; a human always makes the final call.
